This tool is not a hammer/maul. If you use it as such it will deteriorate. Made of oak wood (Quercus robur). This is an Ubrique’s iconic tool, Spanish town where well known brands of leather accessories manufacture their bags. Oak wood is a natural material and may present small imperfections or cracks.
